Our Story
aveParashakti was born from resilience, courage, and an unbreakable belief in a woman’s inner power.
This brand is created by a 22-year-old woman living independently in Melbourne, Australia, carrying a dream that began long before fashion—a dream rooted in survival, sacrifice, and strength.
I come from a family of three sisters raised by a single mother. My mother was married at a very young age and divorced before she even turned twenty—at a time when I was still a baby, barely learning to speak. Life didn’t offer her comfort or support. She worked tirelessly, often leaving home for training and jobs, sometimes taking my elder sister along, sometimes leaving me with my grandmother—her own mother.
As life moved forward, challenges only grew heavier. My elder sister went to a school hostel, and my mother carried the weight of the household alone. With no one to rely on, she ran a small beauty parlour and worked private jobs with a starting salary of less than ₹1000 a month—while raising two daughters in a society quick to judge but slow to help.
When I was around 10–11 years old, my mother remarried after much persuasion from my grandmother. That marriage too turned into hardship. I gained another sister, and once again, my mother chose courage over compromise. By the time I was 17, she had divorced for the second time. Soon after, we lost my grandmother. Suddenly, it was just the four of us—no safety net, no support system.
My mother continued working relentlessly, has been spending nearly 20 years in women and child welfare job, balancing a job, a household, and the emotional needs of three daughters. In a culture where women are questioned at every step, she faced criticism from relatives, society, and strangers alike. People told her to abandon her children and “start over” because she was still young. But she never left us—not once.
Some scars never fade. I don’t remember my father’s face, but I remember the pain my mother endured. Those memories shaped me forever.
Despite everything, my mother believed in education and dreams. She believed in me. When I expressed my desire to study abroad, she made the hardest decision of her life—selling her gold, spending her savings, and taking loans so I could come to Australia. That sacrifice became my wings.
In Australia, I started from scratch—working in restaurants, studying alongside, and later moving into aged care job to support myself and still working. Through every struggle, one dream stayed alive: to build something of my own, to give my mother, sisters and myself the life we deserve.
That dream became aveParashakti.

Parashakti represents the divine feminine energy—strength, creation, power.💗
aveParashakti stands for women who rise, who refuse to shrink, who choose themselves unapologetically.
This brand is for my mother—the strongest woman I have ever known. To me, she is a goddess. she has spent her more than half of her life giving, sacrificing, and surviving for us and she is still doing. aveParashakti exists because she gave me the freedom to dream, to fly, and to believe in myself.
